More Than Just a Picnic: Celebrating the People Behind LIFE Pittsburgh.

On Thursday, October 8, LIFE Pittsburgh employees came together at Scott Park for our annual Employee Picnic. It was an afternoon filled with delicious food, games, raffles, laughter, and an opportunity to spend time with coworkers outside of our usual workday.

While the picnic was a chance to relax and have some fun, it was also an opportunity to celebrate something that makes LIFE Pittsburgh special: our people.

Every day, our employees bring their knowledge, compassion, energy, and dedication to supporting older adults throughout our community. Whether providing medical care, coordinating services, helping Participants remain safe and independent at home, or supporting the many operations that make our work possible, each person plays an important role in fulfilling our mission.

But great organizations are built on more than the work we do. They're also built on the relationships we develop, the respect we have for one another, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team.

That's what made this year's picnic so enjoyable. It was a chance to step away from our daily responsibilities, reconnect with colleagues, share a few laughs, and simply enjoy being together.

A special thank you to our Human Resources team for all the planning and hard work that went into making the afternoon such a success. And thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day memorable.
