Angel Tree Program Brings the Community Together for the Holidays

Each year during the holiday season, LIFE Pittsburgh’s Angel Tree Program reminds us what community truly means.

Many of the people we serve do not have large families or strong support systems. For some, the holidays can feel quiet or isolating. Through the Angel Tree Program, our team takes the time to learn a few simple wishes from each Participant — often modest, meaningful items that bring comfort, joy, or a sense of being remembered.

What happens next is nothing short of remarkable.

Our staff, vendors, and community partners step forward year after year to ensure that every Participant receives a gift. From winter clothing and personal items to small comforts that make daily life brighter, each gift represents more than the item itself — it represents connection, dignity, and care.

Because of this collective effort, every Participant is remembered. Every name on the tree is claimed. Every gift is delivered with intention and heart.

The Angel Tree Program is a reflection of who we are at LIFE Pittsburgh and the community that surrounds us. It is made possible through generosity, teamwork, and a shared belief that everyone deserves to feel valued — especially during the holidays.
