A Day In The LIFE

LIFE Pittsburgh supports seniors on their journey to navigate the complicated issues associated with aging.

Our unique program is customized for each Participant, with the goal of helping them continue living safely and meaningfully in the home, in the community they choose.

A day with LIFE Pittsburgh looks different for everyone – because it’s built around your life, your needs, and your goals for independence.

Morning: Life Starts at Home

Your morning may begin when our home care arrives at your home to support your morning routine - helping with personal care, breakfast, medications or just preparing for the day ahead.

Midday: Care, Connection, and Choice

Depending on your care plan, your day may include a visit to one of our Health and Wellness Centers — a place for medical care, therapy, meals, and connection with others. Our Transportation will pick you up and get you on the way.

At the Center (If Applicable)

At the center, you might meet with medical providers, work with therapists to maintain strength and mobility, enjoy meals tailored to your dietary needs, or participate in social and recreational activities.

Community & Support Beyond the Center

Your care doesn’t stop at the center. We also support you in the community – coordinating appointments, providing transportation, supporting social connections, and helping you remain engaged in daily life.

Evening: Returning Home, Supported

As the day winds down, you return home with the support you need – whether that means transportation, follow-up care, dinner or peace of mind knowing your team is there when you need them.

If you ever need a hospital stay or short-term rehab, you won’t navigate it alone. These situations can be overwhelming, but we stay actively involved – helping you and your family understand what’s happening, communicating with providers, guiding decisions, and coordinating your return home.
