Hours

Our three adult day health centers are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. In addition, LIFE Pittsburgh staff is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Allegheny Center Site

From the North:

  1. Take Parkway North (279 South) towards downtown Pittsburgh.
  2. Take Exit #8B/East Street onto East Street.
  3. Take a right onto Tripoli Street.
  4. Take a left onto Cedar Avenue. 
  5. Take a right onto E. Ohio Street. 
  6. Take a right onto East Commons.
  7. Take a left onto Allegheny Square E.
  8. Follow Allegheny Square E. until you see 3 Allegheny Center on your right.
  9. Take a right into the driveway. Entrances to the center are to the right and left of the main lobby entrance. (Street and garage parking is available on Allegheny Square E. and E. Commons.)
 

From the West:

  1. Take Parkway West (279 North) towards downtown Pittsburgh.
  2. Follow signs to Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
  3. Take a left at 6th Street onto the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
  4. Follow Federal Street for several blocks, bearing right onto S. Commons.
  5. Take a left onto E. Commons. 
  6. Continue past E. Ohio Street and take a left onto Allegheny Square E.
  7. Follow Allegheny Square E. until you see 3 Allegheny Center on your right.
  8. Take a right into the driveway. Entrances to the center are to the right and left of the main lobby entrance. (Street and garage parking is available on Allegheny Square E. and E. Commons.)
 

From the East and South:

  1. Take Parkway East (376 West) towards downtown Pittsburgh.
  2. Take Exit #1B/Stanwix Street.
  3. Bear left onto Fort Pitt Boulevard.
  4. Take a right onto Commonwealth Place. 
  5. Bear right onto Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
  6. Take a left at 6th Street onto the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
  7. Follow Federal Street for several blocks, bearing right onto S. Commons.
  8. Take a left onto E. Commons.
  9. Continue past E. Ohio Street and take a left onto Allegheny Square E.
  10. Follow Allegheny Square E. until you see 3 Allegheny Center on your right.
  11. Take a right into the driveway. Entrances to the center are to the right and left of the main lobby entrance. (Street and garage parking is available on Allegheny Square E. and E. Commons.)

North Shore Site

From the East and South:

  1. Take Parkway East, Rt. 376, towards downtown Pittsburgh.
  2. Follow signs to North Shore.
  3. Follow North Shore ramp onto Reedsdale Street.
  4. Our building is located at the bend in the street. (Mercy Behavioral Health is located in the same building.)
  5. Entrance to the building is through the parking lot, located in the rear of the building. 
 

From the West:

  1. Take Rt. 65, Ohio River Boulevard towards downtown.
  2. Follow signs to the North Shore. This road is Ridge Avenue.
  3. Take a right onto Allegheny Avenue one block.
  4. Take a right onto Reedsdale Street.
  5. Our building is located at the bend in the street. (Mercy Behavioral Health is located in the same building.)
  6. Entrance to the building is through the parking lot, located in the rear of the building. 
 

From the North:

  1. Take Rt. 279S, Parkway North, towards Pittsburgh.
  2. Follow signs to the North Shore.
  3. Follow North Shore ramp onto Reedsdale Street.
  4. Our building is located at the bend in the street. (Mercy Behavioral Health is located in the same building.)
  5. Entrance to the building is through the parking lot, located in the rear of the building.

Directions to LIFE Pittsburgh

Greentree Site

From the North:

  1. Take the Parkway West (279 South) and get off at the Parkway Center Exit.
  2. Follow the ramp to the traffic signal, then turn RIGHT onto Greentree Road.
  3. At the next traffic signal, turn RIGHT, then make a quick LEFT in front of Building 1.
  4. Continue around to the rear corner of Building 1, and enter under the canopy. 
 

From the West:

  1. Take the Parkway West (279 North) and get off at the Greentree/Crafton Exit.
  2. Follow the ramp to the traffic signal, then turn LEFT onto Greentree Road.
  3. At the fourth traffic signal (McKinney Lane), turn RIGHT, then make a quick LEFT in front of Building 1.
  4. Continue around to the rear corner of Building 1, and enter under the canopy.
